John Bunn's Case in the Spotlight: For 22 Years, Caught in a Murder Case's Tangled Web

EXI client John Bunn was 14 years old when he was arrested for a 1992 Brooklyn murder he did not commit. Notoriously corrupt Detective Louis Scarcella was among the detectives who worked on the case. John was ultimately convicted based on the testimony of a single eyewitness and spent 16 years in prison. Blood evidence which would prove his innocence has long since been destroyed.
